Lisa Lavin founded Ōmcare to provide a customizable home health platform that enables one-touch access to telehealth services, aggregated RPM, and medication dispensing with visual confirmation of medication adherence.
Her inspiration came from her grandmother, Mildred, who during a difficult period in Lisa’s childhood took care of her. After growing old, Mildred developed dementia and was eventually placed at a nursing home. Through this experience, Lisa became impassioned not only for her grandmother but for all aging adults. Lisa vowed that she would do everything she could to promote independence and dignity for older adults. “This generation deserves much more than a nursing home, they deserve connectedness, love, and a full, healthy, liberated life.” says Lisa.
