Richard Adam Norwitt

President, CEO & Director, Amphenol Corporation

Mr. Richard Adam Norwitt has been the Chief Executive Officer and President of Amphenol Corporation since January 1, 2009 and January 1, 2007 respectively. Mr. Norwitt serves as Managing Director of Konfektion E Elektronik GmbH. Mr. Norwitt served as the Chief Operating Officer of Amphenol Corporation from January 1, 2007 to December 2008. He served as a Senior Vice President and a Group General Manager at Worldwide RF and Microwave Products Division of Amphenol Corp. from January 2004 to December 2006 and Vice President and as a Group General Manager of Worldwide RF and Microwave Products division of Amphenol Corp. from January 2004 to June 2006 and as a General Manager of Worldwide RF and Microwave Products from November 2003 to January 2004. Mr. Norwitt has held a variety of management, business development and operating positions in Amphenol operations in Asia and the United States since 1998 when he joined. Mr. Norwitt served as a Director of interconnect systems operations of Asia from 2002 to 2003, General Manager of Amphenol East Asia Electronic Technology (Shenzhen) Ltd. from 2001 to 2003 and as a Business Development Manager of Asia from 2000 to 2003. He has been a Director of Amphenol Corporation since January 1, 2009. Mr. Norwitt is a Graduate of Georgetown University, a Law Degree from the University of Michigan and an MBA from INSEAD, France.
