Meeting the Curators
The idea for SLA was conceptualised and brought to fruition by Anshuman Srivastava. As a second-generation lawyer, Anshuman had already worked outside the country, gained valuable experience, and was now looking to take the bold step of establishing his own legal practice. Anshuman completed his LLB from the renowned Cardiff University and his LLM from the University of Wales. He combines his unbound expertise in law with a decade’s worth of hands-on experience to deliver excellence across industrial verticals. His areas of expertise include Commercial Contracts and Business Law, Labour & Employment Laws, Mines & Minerals, Real Estate, Telecom Laws, Consumer Laws, and Administrative & Election Laws. His long list of distinctions includes handling national and international arbitrations before all courts and tribunals, representing leading real estate firms before the Supreme Court, and others.
Abhijeet Srivastava is the Joint Managing Partner at SLA and specialises in Litigation, Arbitration, and Corporate Law. Apart from being an alumnus of Jindal Global Law School and UK’s Durham University, Abhijeet has also completed specialised courses in Corporate Law and Commercial Law from the prestigious London School of Economics. He has worked with several multinational companies, PSUs, and Government departments, representing them in the High Courts, Appellate Courts, and other legal forums like NCLT, NGT, and others. Apart from being a hands-on lawyer, with a pragmatic frame of mind, he is also engaged in pro-nono activities and works relentlessly to help create legal awareness, especially among the marginalised sections of the Indian society.
