This accolade, coupled with Dubai’s comprehensive offerings and superior infrastructure, emphasises its position as a preferred destination for budget travellers to luxury seekers, supported by a rich calendar of events spanning business, leisure, and sports.
Tourism Guiding the Economy
Dubai’s tourism triumph is not only a testament to effective leadership but also a catalyst for economic growth. The city witnessed a notable 3.3% GDP increase in the first three quarters of 2023, with the accommodation and food services sectors experiencing an impressive 11.1% growth, solidifying Dubai’s status as a tourism powerhouse.
