World’s no. 1 Iga Swiatek wins her eighth title of 2022 on Sunday in an Open San Diago WTA tournament offering a tough game with Donna Vekic. Iga Swiatek defeated Croatia’s Donna Vekic 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 in one hour and 47 minutes to pull off the debut edition of the San Diago Open.

This was the 64th of the season for Poland’s Swiatek, who has already won the French Open, US Open, Qatar, Indian Wells, Miami Stuttgart, and Rome. “It was a really tight match and pretty long.” “We feel the intensity for sure.
