Leaders, experts and major companies that specialise in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors will gather in Abu Dhabi. The gathering will take place in December this year. This will mark the first global food exhibition in the emirate.
The Abu Dhabi Media Office made the announcement on Tuesday that the first edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition or ADIFE in short is scheduled to be launched on December 6, 2022 at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre.
The end date of the exhibition is set as December 8. Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) organised this exhibition in cooperation with Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA) under the the patronage of Sheikh Mansour bin Zayed Al Nahyan who is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Presidential Court, along with being the Chairman of the Board of ADAFSA.
It is expected that the exhibition is going to witness local and international participation by major companies on a large, global scale who specialise in the food, beverage and hospitality sectors, in addition to many experts, specialists, and decision makers in this vital industry.
The Director General of ADAFSA, Saeed Al Bahri Al Ameri talked about the importance of the food and beverage sector at local and international levels. He said: “The launch of the first edition of the Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition clearly reflects the growing importance of this sector on local and international levels. This will help provide a real opportunity for major global companies to showcase the latest technologies in the food manufacturing and production, as well as exploring investment opportunities that should help consolidate food security and ensure the better future of coming generations. It will serve as a platform which will help important buyers form a strong network with in a business atmosphere that is both supportive and encouraging and at the same one that drives both partnerships and sales.”
The Abu Dhabi International Food Exhibition is expected to witness the signing of many contracts, deals and partnership between a wide range of government agencies and private sector establishments, in addition to a series of meetings between buyers and providers in the various supply chains.
