The 13th edition of DIDAC India 2023, Asia’s premier Education and Skilling Resources Exhibition and Conference, commenced today at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC). Organised by the India Didactics Association (IDA), the Department of Education, Government of Karnataka is entrusted to host the event. Shri Madhu Bangarappa, Hon’ble Minister for Primary & Secondary Education, Government of Karnataka, inaugurated the event, alongside distinguished ministers and bureaucrats representing various nations and Indian states.

A remarkable assembly of countries joined this educational endeavour, including Bangladesh, Bhutan, Armenia, Brunei, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Finland, Maldives, Mauritius, Nauru, Oman, Papua New Guinea, Sierra Leone, and Turkey. Furthermore, representatives from Indian states, such as Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Karnataka, Arunachal Pradesh, Kerala, Meghalaya, and Telangana, graced the event.
As the country’s singular yearly conference and exhibition dedicated to skilling and education resources, DIDAC India unveiled a treasure trove of innovative educational solutions designed to elevate educational institutions to world-class standards.
This year, the event marks the 13th edition, signifying the dynamic convergence of education leaders, industry experts, and policy-makers. The International Education and Skills Summit (TIESS) ran in parallel with Live Interactive IDA Connect Workshops, facilitating transformative discussions and interactive workshops over three insightful days.
Karnataka’s Minister for Primary and Secondary Education, Shri Bangarappa, spoke at the event, emphasising the event’s importance. He noted that the summit represented a crucial milestone, featuring active participation from education ministers and officials from 15 countries. During the event, the Government of Karnataka engaged in discussions about various educational initiatives. Shri Bangarappa underscored the importance of transforming acquired insights into practical initiatives for educational institutions across the nation. He also stressed that the summit played a pivotal role in promoting global educational equity and making education universally accessible.
