The most esteemed fashion event of the year was held virtually this year. Although, majorly the event was held online, some parts were done physically or allowed very few spectators.
The fashion week primarily indicated on the year that has gone by and they have adopted the new normal with the utmost grace. There were designs and patterns that were inspired by the changed lifestyle. They catered to the interests of the common people.
Fendi that was shown during the Men’s fashion week focused mainly on indoor dressing as has become a norm this year, comfortable and stylish sleepwear that can be worn everyday and emphasis was also given on the comfortable loungewear. All the clothing was made in such a way that a simple pairing could make them stylish and hence be worn not only in the comforts of your home but also while stepping out. All clothing reflected on a continued sense of practicality.
The next brand was Prada whose focus was not limited on indoors rather they proposed stepping out. The main focal point of Prada was knit patterns that were highlighted throughout their range of clothing. They gave emphasis to the current scenario by adding an extra layer of protection in their clothing collection. Jackets were also used in the collection and they were usually co-ordinated with the other piece of clothing to give a homogenous flow.
Etro was also very dominant in this fashion week. They were different from the rest of the lot as they focused on clearing out the clutter that was created the last year. Their collection was all about rediscovering and creating something new or treasurable from that very clutter. Vintage pieces were seen throughout. Optimism was also given its due importance by making abundant use of warm hues that indicated positivity and instilled a hope for the season to come.
The most notable feature of this fashion week was that it gave due emphasis on the changing needs of the consumers and created products that will prove to be very beneficial for the wearers.
