They made their last comeback with The Album, and ever since then, the girls have been MIA as a group. There was no news of any sort of their comeback having surfaced till a few weeks ago. And now, with each passing day, we get closer and closer to Blackpink making their much-awaited return to the stage.
For those of you who may not be aware, it has been nearly two years since Blackpink has put out any songs as a group. They have been pretty much booked and busy with their individual commitments; the girls however will finally be making a comeback, and it would not be an understatement that all eyes are set on them.
And it is not only their new music that is coming out. What is more exciting is that the girls are also shooting for a music video with a very high budget. This video is supposed to entail YG Entertainment highest production cost of the agency of the Blackpink. Now, that is the true definition of making a comeback!
“BLACKPINK is at the moment filming their music video. The highest production costs of all time are being invested into it. Since we have prepared a well thorough plan and proceeded with every bit of thoroughness, the whole process is going on smoothly,” a statement by the label read, as reported by Korean news portals.
And with this, Blackpink has officially increased the hype surrounding their comeback. August is just around the corner and you can expect the group to start dropping various goodies like concept pictures and teasers in the next coming days.
