TechNode Announces Winners of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2020

TechNode Global has announced the list of victors in the field of innovation for the year 2020. TechNode Global is a Pan-Asia tech platform that has launched its first ever ORIGIN Innovation Awards this year, to appraise the top innovators in the tech industry. The list of winners was announced during the ORIGIN Conference. This conference was dedicated to the latest technological innovations in the arena of Asian tech and startups. These awards were presented by TechNode to outstanding startups corporates, ecosystem enablers, and movers and shakers in Asia who are poised for growth.

Appraising the Best Budding Tech Companies

This year’s winners were selected from nearly 400 participating contenders, spanning across 18 countries in the Asia Pacific region. The victors of the 2020 ORIGIN Innovation accolades include some very promising startups, venture capital firms, community builders, corporates, and influential individuals. The advisory panel of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2020 was braced by representatives from AppWorks, Gobi Partners, Cyberport, InnoVen Capital, Golden Gate Ventures, MDI Ventures, Rakuten Capital, Sistema Asia, True Digital Park, and ZWC Partners. Most participating tech companies represented Southeast Asia, followed by East and South Asian contenders. Strength of technology, value proposition, company growth potential, and leadership capability were the main criteria of evaluation ascertained by the advisory panel.

Award Winners

AIZEN, a South Korea-based AI service-cum-banking-platform was the top winner in the artificial intelligence category. In the category of IoT, KaHa, an end-to-end smart IoT wearable platform emerged victorious. In the HealthTech category, Aktivolabs, DocDoc and a few others aced the race. Other noteworthy categories included the Resilience Award, Founder of the Year, Best Sustainable Solution Award, People’s Choice VC, Best Internet Solutions Award, Best Digital Transformation Award and others.  Nadia Fonny, Vice President of Gobi Partners, and Advisor of the ORIGIN Innovation Awards 2020 panel, applauded the winners by saying, “Congratulations to the winners for making an impact on the Asian technology and innovation space. All of this year’s nominations were impressive and have demonstrated passion and dedication in providing innovative technology solutions.”
