Jimmy Choo, a London-based footwear brand launching its store in Madrid’s iconic luxury shopping mall Galaria Canalejas that have a list of exclusive brands. The store is appearing in the centrally located space with the opening of a 45 square meter shop that features a new interior design concept representing the brand’s “new era”.
This new shop offers an entire range of women’s apparel including shoes, bags, eyewear, small leather goods, fragrances, and other accessories, and also have a special selection of bridal pieces. This shop joins the other location of Jimmy Choo’s Spanish capital on the luxurious Calle Jose Ortega y Gasset.
The newly inaugurated shop is located just a few meters away from Madrid’s landmark Puerta del Sol, which is illustrated by its warm and welcoming ambiance, where the entrance made of green marble welcomes the guest in. The shop had a unique look with décor including brushed brass accents, travertine woodwork, and architectural detailing. With textured plaster walls, the endowment featured outstanding custom-fit furnishing giving mesmerizing look to the shop.
Due to the pandemic, the inauguration of the mall named Galaria Canalejas was delayed, although it opens the door at number 1 of Plaza de Canalejas in 2020 with the motive of calibrating itself as the Spanish capital’s leading luxury destination. In addition to the Four Seasons hotel and its selection of luxury shops, the spaces also house cosmopolitan brands such as Cartier, Rolex, Saint Laurent, Fendi, and Hermes.
The Capri Holdings group owns other firms such as Versace and Michael Kors. The conglomerate increased its sales by 39.2% to 5.65 billion dollars. Jimmy Choo, the smallest brand in the company’s brand portfolio in terms of turnover, recorded a 46.5% increase in sales to 613 million dollars.
In Madrid, the American group Capri Holdings owned the brand since 2017 and additionally has an outlet in Las Rozas Village and a corner in El Corte Ingles de la Castellana.
