Tesla Plans to Restart Fremont Plant as Soon as Friday: Report

Tesla exhibits whooping Profit as Musk Urges End to Virus Lock-Down

Musk informed Tesla plans to restart its Fremont factory on Friday afternoon, according to the Bloomberg report.

Though the lockdown in Alameda, the county in San Francisco Bay Area where Tesla’s factory is located, is scheduled to last till the end of May. So according to a county order, the Fremont factory is not permitted to operate regularly.

California’s order from Thursday does not replace the county plan, Alameda Sheriff’s Office spokesman Ray Kelly informed Reuters on Thursday.

The Fremont plant close its operations in middle of the March after lockdowns were forced to control the spread of COVID-19, which has infected over 3.8 million people around the world.

Tesla did not immediately reveal the plan to Reuters’ request for comment.
