Madrid Fashion Week: Three Day Fashion Show Happened Amid Covid-19

The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, a 3 day event was organized in Madrid after taking all the necessary safety measures. Usually the fashion show takes place two times a year and this time around it was held at Feria De Madrid. The show exhibited some fabulous collections and was held from 10 to 13 September, 2020. The organizers confirmed that all the sanitization precautions were taken backstage. From wearing masks and sanitizing hands to maintaining social distancing, the crew confirmed a flawless show. The hair and make-up of the models was done by masked staffers and even the seating arrangements confirmed enough spaces between two people.

The benches at the venue were marked with text in Spanish that read “Classic canon of beauty = 8 heads. Safety canon = 1.5 meters. Please do not occupy this space”.

The Mercedes Benz Fashion Week is also being organized at two other locations- New York and Milan. Whereas the event was held from September 13 to 17 in New York; Milan will host the fashion show from September 22 to 28, 2020.

Famous Spanish designer Agatha Ruiz de la Prada showcased her gorgeous collection at the Madrid Fashion Week. From rainbow colored clothes to subtle whites, Agatha’s collection was a treat for the eyes. With a splash of colors right from the top to the toe, the collection was a must-see for all fashion freaks. Agatha’s collection also included a headgear collection which was spotted by every model who walked the ramp.

Due to the covid-19, the duration of fashion weeks have been reduced, across all the three locations.
