Exciting New Motion Picture Releases Next Year

This year, the entertainment industry has witnessed an unprecedented slump due to the Covid-19 pandemic. However, the list of releases next year shine a slim glimmer of hope for the potent and timely recovery of the industry. IMDB’s list of top releases next year have been announced.

Animated Masterpieces

In the animation genre, the much awaited 2019 sequel to ‘The Addams Family’ motion picture is under works. It is set to release in 2021. Another release in the animated category will be the sequel to the 2017 hit film “Boss Baby”.  The sequel will be named “The Boss Baby: Family Business”, with voice overs by renowned artists like James Marsden, Alec Baldwin, and Amy Sedaris.

Creepy Tales

In the horror genre, the much awaited Keri Russell starrer ‘Antler’ will also be released next year. It is produced by the renowned director Guillermo del Toro. The film is based on Nick Antosca’s short story, “The Quiet Boy.” The next installment in the Conjuring franchise is also set to release in 2021.

Dramatic Entertainment

The Adam Driver and Marion Cotillard will feature in the musical drama titled “Annette”. The film will be made by the renowned French director Leos Carax and the music is provided by iconic oddball duo Sparks. Another release that was going to make its debut at the International Cannes Film Festival 2020, is “Benedetta”. The film is a period drama starring Virginie Efira as 17th-century nun Benedetta.

Superhero Action

The superhero genre of motion pictures has some of the most formidable releases lined up for the upcoming year, including the delayed release of Marvel’s ‘Blackwidow”, starring Scarlet Johansson. This film will also mark the beginning of phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. This will be followed by the release of the Guardians of the Galaxy Volume 3. “Venom: Let There Be Carnage” will also debut next year.

Several other notable movies like the Jungle Cruise, The Hitman’s Wife’s Bodyguard, Infinite, Gucci, The Last Duel, and others are set to release in 2021. This star studded lineup of films is set to make the upcoming year a cinematic success.
