China has yet again left the world in awe of its technological advancement as it launches the first ever floating train the world. Not only this, this train will travel at a speed of 620 km/hr which is a magnificent feat in itself.
The defining features of this train will include that will be risen from the tracks, that is, it will float which will allow it to travel faster as well as avoid any form of friction.
As of now, it is still in the initial phases but it is expected that the unveiling of this new endeavor would be done soon by China. It will have no wheels.
The prototype of this train itself has the world gawking and it is expected to be a standing feature for travel in the future. The idea of this type of travel and its prototype has been developed by University Students of the Southwest Jiatong University in China.
The train will be allowed to hover from the tracks with the help of magnets that have been designed using high temperature superconductors which is a relatively new technology itself.
The prototype presented by the students was around 70 foot. Even at the launch, the train was shown to be floating to give the people a hint of this futuristic technology.
The use of the superconductor technology will make the train way faster and lighter than all of the other available trains as of now.
With this debut, the name that is being circulated for this train is zero to one as it is a breakthrough technology that the world could have not even imagined.
It is expected that the train will only be made usable and available to everyone after ensuring that all safety measures are in place and there is no problem with the technology.
The train has been named manglev and it is a part of the Chinese mission that will allow faster travel to the cities, thereby connecting all of them which will also help trade.
