admin The cricket teams of England and India recently played a series of matches in the categories of the test matches, the T20s and ODI’s. there were 5,5 and 3 matches in the mentioned categories respectively.
Both the teams played spectacularly and managed to keep the viewers hooked to their screens. India emerged victorious in all the categories. In the test they won by 4-1, in the T20s 3-2 and in the ODI 2-1.
The batting as well as the bowling line up for the both the teams was excellent and showed wonderful cricket. In the most recent match that took place, the England all-rounder Sam Curran took everyone by storm.
He played magnificently in the series decider and managed to score 95 off of just 83 balls. This also took England to a total of 322 runs in a chase of 329. Even though England did not win the series, Sam Curran display of cricket made all netzines appreciate him.
He came to bat at the eight number and had a lot to do, he also had a 60-run partnership with Mark Wood who is mainly a baller.
For India, a number of players had remarkable scores but one that needs a mention is Bhuvneshwar Kumar who balled with such precision and ease and took wickets time and again. He too got the appreciation of everyone as being one of the finest ballers in cricket internationally.
Both the teams played in bio-bubbles.
England is still on top of the ICC Super Cup league ratings followed by Australia at number two. Both have 40 points each but England has a better run rate and therefore have the first place. India has the seventh place on the same ranking and the teams in the top five are New Zealand, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.
A number of England players will now also be seen in the Indian Premier League. Other than that, the next international cricket tournament to look out for will be the T20 world cup hosted by the ICC.
