Whitney Wolfe has a total of 21.54 million shares in the company. They make up about 11.6% and the net worth of the same is about $1.6 billion.
Now, not only is she the world’s youngest self-made billionaire but she was also the youngest female CEO to ever take over a public company in the United States.
Bumble has now become exceeding popular with the masses and is the second biggest dating app that is available in the market. It comes next only to Match.com which tried to buy Bumble in the year 2017.
Wolfe first worked with Tinder and then moved on to work with Andrey Andreev who is a billionaire based in London and of a Russian origin. He had already been working on making several dating apps mostly for the European and the Latin American markets and then finally made his journey to Bumble with Wolfe as the cofounder who then established herself as the youngest self-made billionaire in the world.
Bumble is very popular with people and one factor that sets it apart from all the other dating apps available in the market is that only women can make an outreach first and not men.
Andreev exited the company in the year 2019 because of a few allegations that were levied against him. From thereon, Wolfe headed the company.
