H&M has a strong track record of generating mass hysteria with its clothing, having gained widespread notoriety for annual designer collaborations with the likes of Erdem, Balmain and Versace.
This year, the high street stalwart has joined forces with Giambattista Valli, an Italian couturier synonymous with gargantuan tulle gowns.
The brand announced its latest partnership in May by having reality star and supermodel Kendall Jenner wear one of the pieces from its collection to the Cannes Film Festival.
While the model gave fashion fans a preview of what to expect from the highly anticipated collection then, now H&M has released the full lookbook featuring womenswear and menswear.
Shot in Valli’s hometown of Rome by photographer Kyle Weeks, the dynamic cast features models including Oslo Grace, Leslye Houenou, Mara Kasanpawiro, Kohei Takabatake, Luka Isaac and Tom Rey.
The collection includes an array of ready-to-wear pieces including ruffled blouses and gowns to snake-effect trousers, a leopard print coat and logo-heavy hoodies.
Price points for the line-up range from £29.99 through to £399 for the showstopping red tulle dress.
Other gowns in the collection are available for between £79.99 and £199, while the heart-shaped bag costs £39.99. The entire range will be made available at select H&M stores globally and on the retailer’s website starting on 7 November 2019.
