The biggest music night The Grammys 63rd edition recently took place and left us in awe of the winners. Beyonce this year managed to set the benchmark very high as she is now the female artist with the most Grammys as she now has 28 Grammy awards, not only this Meghan Thee Stallion also won big at the awards night and managed to take three awards with her.
In regard to the other awards, Billie Eilish won one of the most important awards of Record of the year for Everything I wanted. America’s sweetheart Taylor Swift also took home with herself the award for the Album of the year for Folklore. H.E.R won the prestigious song of the year award.
Beyonce who now has 28 Grammys beat the record of Alison Krauss who had 27 Grammys. The award that took Beyonce to this new benchmark was for the best R&B Performance which she made for the Black Parade. Meghan Thee Stallion is a debutant and managed to sway everywhere with her big wins in the categories of the Best New Artist, Best Rap Song and Best Rap Performance all for her song Savage.
The exciting night was opened by Trevor Noah who ensured that there was a night and fun atmosphere throughout. A rather controversial joke was also made by Trevor wherein it was stated that this has to be the largest outdoor event and gathering in the year 2021 but only next to the storming of the US Capitol in the month of January.
The best Pop Duo or a group performance went to the famous names in the music industry Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande for Rain of Me.
Dua Lipa, James Taylor, Fiona Apple, Brittany Howard also won awards in the different categories alongside many other deserving ones. All in all it was a star-studded night in Los Angeles wherein the biggest contributors of the music industries were awarded for their efforts in taking the industry to another level. It was attended by many of the big faces in the music industry including Beyonce and Taylor Swift.
