The luxury brand Gucci has decided to launch its new collection on various digital platforms on the 15th of April. This collection has a special significance for the brand and therefore major details of the same have not been released. The new collection is being called Aria and the creative director on this is Alessandro Michele. This show is likely to go beyond the traditional approach to fashion.
It will be the part of a new marketing strategy of the brand wherein it will show not one but two collections this year. Innovative films and new creative ideas have been taken in order to showcase this exquisite collection.
The brand has always managed to awe people with not only their collections but their ways of presenting them. a very apt example would be the July collection where the brand did a 12-hour livestream just to release its new collection.
Usually, these launches are a star-studded affair and are fancy with cruise ships and big parties but this year it has all been shifted online. Gucci has also made use of filming techniques.
They managed do put on a spectacular seven-part film just to showcase their new collection. What is more exciting is the fact that this film was directed by the Academy Award nominee Gus Van Sant.
For this, an entire film festival was launched digitally and it was called the GucciFest. People enjoyed the show that had been magnificently put on and the creative eye was surely brilliant.
