The United States has been the worst-affected by this pandemic. This authorization was done after a thorough analysis of the vaccine and it was deemed fit and safe for use.
This vaccine was administered in a matter of months through technological advancements. Given the unprecedented spread of this pandemic, it became absolutely necessary that a vaccine which is safe and effective was made. It was something that all of the human race was waiting for.
In a video shared on Twitter by Donald Trump, he called this vaccine as the greatest scientific accomplishments in history. He also emphasized on the fact that the first shot of this vaccine shall be made available to the public within 24 hours.
Another vaccine being manufactured by Moderna is also expected to gain clearance, thereby, providing the requisite number of doses to save the world from this pandemic.
Although some people in the United Kingdom have reacted adversely to this vaccine showing an allergy reaction, therefore for the time period, people with history of severe allergic reactions have been told to avoid the vaccine.
The distribution of this vaccine however, will be a tiresome job given the fact this vaccine will lose its potency if not stored at the right temperature that is -70 degrees. But the U.S has been ramping up its storage for this vaccine since months and other countries too are preparing to the best extent possible.
This vaccine has already gained approval in the United Kingdom, Canada and Mexico and passing through the FDA was also a very huge milestone in the way. These countries plan to inoculate their entire populations. Apart from these countries, Pfizer is now seeking approval in almost all parts of the globe. Once approved, the transportation of these will start with the help of dry ice in order to preserve the vaccine.
