Wiz Khalifa and Charlie Puth Performed as Lakers’ give Tribute to Kobe Bryant

“It’s been a long way without you my friend, and I’ll tell you all about it when I see you again.” Lyrics to the song by Charlie Puth and Wiz Khalifa left everyone at the LA’s Staple Center.

Fans were already in tears after going through the pre-game tribute to Kobe Bryant. This was all organized as the world lost Lakers legend and a great human being on January 26th in a Helicopter Crash. The 41-year-old was with her 13-year-old daughter Gianna and 7 others.

‘See you again’ was originally written and produced in 2015 for the movie ‘Furious 7’ in the memory of Paul Walker who was one of the leads of the former franchise.

Usher also gave an emotional performance as he sang ‘Amazing Grace’ which left Lakers stars Anthony Davis, 26, and, LeBron James, 35, in tears.

Usher then performed a moving rendition of “Amazing Grace,” which reduced Lakers stars LeBron James, 35, and Anthony Davis, 26, to tears

As a part of the tribute, Kobe’s number 24 jersey of Lakers and his Gianna’s AAU Team Mamba black jersey were draped over the courtside seats where they sat at the last game, they attended together which was held on 29th December 2019. Lakers players came out in one of the two jersey numbers, 8 and 24, which Kobe used to wear. Players were pronounced as Kobe, from Lower Merion High School in Pennsylvania, as Kobe came in the NBA directly from high school at the age of 20.
