Taylor Swift has always been an inspirational singer-songwriter for more than a decade and earned fame and money during her international singing career. She has always been a person who has cared for causes and has helped the deprived, depressed and underprivileged class of our society. In her latest social work, she has donated $1 million to restore the property and rehabilitate the affected people of Tennessee which was hit on multiple occasions by different tornadoes. She posted about the disaster on Twitter just days before donating money. She donated the money to Middle Tennessee Emergency Response Fund which is an NPO and helps communities and Victims of disasters.
On Thursday, Swift took the help of Instagram to encourage her friends to donate money to the relief fund.
“Nashville is my home and the fact that so many people have lost their homes and so much more in Middle Tennessee is devastating to me,” she posted.
In 2016, Taylor Swift donated $1 million to Louisiana flood relief fund and asked others to help increase the fund total.
For now, Tennessee Titans have helped the donations by donating $1 million have helped in the relief work.
There have been at least 24 people dead by the last two tornadoes.
Two tornadoes struck central Tennessee earlier this week, leaving around 24 people dead and hundreds of buildings destroyed.
