The Swedish brand KappAhl is planning on the launch of a new brand solely for children in the month of February this year. The main reason behind this step is that KappAhl wants to strengthen its position in the children department given the recent success of its brand.
This new brand is still being worked on but primarily it is meant to cater to the needs of children between the age groups of 0-8 years.
KappAhl is launching this new brand with a special significance, as for the first time ever gender stereotypes for children are being challenged by this brand. The brand feels that the already existing clothing for children in various brands is super boring and therefore plans on inculcating something new.
The brand wants to make a statement, something that the world needs and what it aims is to show people that kindness is a super power.
The brand will be called Minories and KappAhl feels that as of now they are on a very exciting phase where continuous growth is being witnessed by the brand, it is being hoped that this new idea for children wear will also be successful and they would be able to continue with their growth feat and make their portfolio even stronger.
The success of all the previous endeavors of the company was given to its employees for the enormous energy that they put in to create exciting products.
The brand also takes into account the longevity of the clothing in mind, thereby making the cloths long enough so that even if the child is in the growing age, the clothing can be enjoyed for a considerably long period of time.
They are also putting in a considerable amount of energy into maximizing the usage of sustainable products in the manufacturing of the garments.
With this new initiative, KappAlh wants to set a benchmark that clothing does not have to be gendered and these stereotypes need to be broken. The main emphasis is on the child creating their own identity.
