The automobile by Lamborghini recently took part in the Days of Speed event hosted by LAV which is held on ice of the Lake Baikal in Russia. The Lamborghini Urus set a new record therein where it managed to record a whopping speed of 298 kmph and thereby setting a new benchmark altogether for all the others.
The maximum speed of the Urus was even more during the practice runs. It achieved 302 kmph. The average speed of the vehicle for a 1000 metre run was around 114 kmph and then it managed to reach an impressible and impeccable speed of 298 Kmph.
The official data for the same will be released by the organisation next month providing more in-depth analysis of the car and the speed at which it was able to run on ice.
The head of Lamborghini was very happy with the achievement and said that Urus delivers the inherent performance expected out of a Lamborghini both in terms of acceleration or speed and handling any road may it be ice or a highway.
The Urus is powered with a 4 litre V8 twin engine that plays a role in delivering 650 bhp at 6,000 rpm. The speed of acceleration of the Urus is what sets it apart, it goes from a 0 to a whopping 100kmph in merely 3.6 seconds and from 0 to 200 it takes 12.8 seconds.
The LAV racing company organised this festival wherein Urus performed brilliantly. All the regulations of FIA and RAF were adhered to during the event. The sprint by this SUV has surely made the car fans extremely happy.
